GSP, I am interested in your thoughts. It seems that most are thinking that Boston will use this game as a BREAKOUT from the embarassing last couple of weeks, where the team has looked dreadful When Pierce is on the bench, this team might as well use manquins out on the court. So, finally, Boston gets a HOME game against a decimated team (Toronoto injuries) and will run up the score -- pointing to an OVER.

Is that your thinking?

What I wonder is -- will Toronto socre its fair share of points. I presume if Boston gets close to 100, that means Tornonto will need close to 80.

Questions -- will either team play defense? Will Boston conitnue to run up the points if they build a 20 point lead? What happens in the event that Boston is shown to be not mnuch better than Toronot and this is a clsoe game?

Im kinda nervous, i figure toronto is going to play hard defense tonight, they are on their, what 6-7th game losing streak? Bostons got the upper hand, and usually when toronto knows that they play some tough defense, and rock off a lower scoring game.

Nolan, I probably won't be playing the Bos game tonight. I capp totals using several methods. The two I rely on most is 1. numbers crunching 2. situations. Numbers crunching is just that, adding up all the numbers and seeing if they come above or below the line. Situations are not trends but situations that come up and produce usually the same results day in and day out. I like to have someone that capps totally different than I do to check my plays against. J's method is totally different than mine and has been very successful this year so if we are together on a play it usually wins. For the past three years I would use Roger as a check-point. This usually gives me one on two plays that I feel very safe with.

Tonight's game in Bos will come down to this. Bos will try to run and Kevin O'Neil will try to slow the play down. With a short bench you can't afford to get in a running game and run out of steam in the fourth. It's either that or forget d completely and hope your guys shoot better than their guys. NBA players don't get tired on the offensive end of the court. I might put a little on the over since it's a pretty strong play for me but I respect that j likes it a lot as an under. Normally I would just pass, after all, there's always another game. Good luck to you tonight.

the problem with all the raptor game during this strek is that the raptors got down big in the first half. and most of the games in the second half went over with them running up and down. with the celtic horrible defense this game should go over even with out carter and rose

joe, during the laker game last nite i came up w/just boston under. then decided to check back to see if the line(s) changed on sacramento since they played tonite also. but it didnt. but did notice the play on new orleans under. but figured i already did my homework and figurred to leave it at that.
