Backing these four:

Northern Iowa (+3)
...Nice home dog. Just played maybe their worst game of the year, and still won. Sharper effort Monday imo.

Creighton (-3)
...Gonna take some sack to back this team. They were limp on Saturday, getting blown out. Note that Creighton has lost 4 home games in 4 years, and 3 of those losses were vs mighty Southern Illinois. Bold move laying points with a team that looks lame, but I think it's the right move.

Indiana St (+4.5)
...Working on a long losing streak. Just missed on Saturday. I think they might get off the schnide on Monday vs another bad team.

SW Mo St (+2.5)
...Man, they looked strong on Saturday. Will ride em here in dog role.

would think indiana state would qualify in a negative spot for you as sycamores held somewhere around a 17 point lead very late and lost the game in the final minute. no worry about a hangover effect from a crushing loss (on larry bird day no less)?

on n.iowa myself - like that one

i was on ind st in that game. they were up 17 and, late in the second half, they actually lost 15 points of lead in about a minute and a half, then lost in the endgame. can't imagine a more brutal loss in a bigger setting. i was thinking of fading them here.


love the n iowa and creighton plays. g/l today.

Thx, fellas. We'll find out if I missed the boat in about 12 hours.

The Creighton game is the most intriguing one to me, from a capping perspective. If that team has anything, and if Altman has anything, I think they get the job done in this setting. Note that the line was pick-em for Creighton at Wich St earlier this year. That means the line turnover from first meet is about 6 points.

0 + 4.5 + 4.5 - 3 = 6
