Colts sign Manning to record deal
The Indianapolis Colts agreed with quarterback Peyton Manning on a seven-year,
$99.2 million contract to make him the highest-paid player in league history.
The National Football League's co-MVP, will make an NFL-record average of $14.7
million a year. The contract also includes a record $34.5 million signing
bonus. The move is expected to allow the Colts to begin re-signing other key
free agents
