Maryland @ NCSU:
This is FINAL game of the season for the Pack at Home....
Both teams are coming off of tough losses at home. Both teams need the win, but Maryland needs it a lot more than the Pack does. They will be more hungry IMO. The problem the Terps will have is that they are a very young team. The veterans on the team are having to play increased minutes which is hurting them down the stretch of games (especially at the end of the season). Think Maryland keeps it close and hopefully the Pack can pull out the win in the end. Still think the points are too much (would lean to MD +7/6.5 points). All the games @ Cole Fieldhouse seem to be high scoring, whereas the games in Raleigh tend to be a little less explosive. State is still shooting WAY too many 3 point shots. One bad night in the Big Dance and they are out it. Hope they can play some more "down low" in the paint...
good read about the match-up: http://gopack.ocsn.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/030204aaa.html

like state tonight to get the win but was wondering what gameplan gary has.he may try and pound it inside to smith and he may try and turn it into track meet. with sherrill not playing md should have better depth and strawberry will be on hodge.i think you maybe right on total play to go under.

crazy night topped off with the Pack losing:eek:

they better get their $hit together real fast or this season will be all for nothing, except an early departure like the last 2 years in the tourney....heard that IF they lose to Wake on Sat, then State is #3 seed in ACC tourney:nono:

recap: 4-7 (-3.18)

YTD: 114-117-7 (-2.81)

I hate when they go into the slow down offense. Reminds me of Les Robinson! Les Robinson equaled less wins!
the last 4 minutes were really confusing....got my under, but would have rather had the Pack win and lose the play:shrug:

Can definitely see how much Scooter means to the team....gonna miss him and Melvin next year...and Roach....not returning for his fourth year:confused:

think we saw ga tech and md being the hungrier teams.only silver lining for me is that hopefully duke will be ready for unc on sat.last night state had too many turnovers.we also saw what happens to duke when deng and williams take the night off.acc tourney should be something.in my opinion depth will win it and ga tech and wake have the most.good luck on sat.
