Good job on his interview last night. Just kidding. He said I have no involvement with Hal. In fact he said. This is last year they will be paying me. Of course you are not involved. ;) What a dumb statement.

SA his dumb statement speaks for it's self. Thats what he said. And I don't hate Bush. I don't love him either. I wish I had not voted for him. Yes he P's me off. And per every poll taken in last 6 months. I have around 50% that agree. Everyone always brings up Clinton. He P'd me off in the end to. There both liears.
OK to strong of a word. They both stretch the truth. And now one wants to give the Mexican iligals a free pass. And his name is not Clinton.

what exactly is Cheney's crime and tell me exactly what Bush lied about (what he said and why it is a lie).....

if you cannot do this, then the only liars will be those who continue to propagate such accusations

for those of you with short memories still persisting on saying our president lied about Iraq......here you go

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to
develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them.
That is our bottom line."
- President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
- President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [the USA], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
- Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"We urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
- Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass
destruction and palaces for his cronies."
- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has invigorated his weapons
programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies."
- Letter to President Bush, Signed by Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL,) and others, December 5, 2001

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a
threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the
mandated of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them."
- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical
weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to
deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are
confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and
biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to
build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence
reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority
to use force-- if necessary-- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do" Rep.
- Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that
Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological
weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has
also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members .. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal,
murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a
particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to
miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his
continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ..."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

and for those of you who say Cheney is a crook because he has a conflict of interest.....

1. name me one person in Congress without a conflict of interest.

2. Why don't we hear about Tom Daschle's wife being paid millions of dollars / year for lobbying. Is she really this good of lobbier? Or might there be something more to the story? And why isn't this reported as often as Halliburton?

3. And why are we criticizing Halliburton who has gone into harm's way to deliver us oil to heat the house, and transport our lazy asses to work (and the welfare line for you liberals)....all the while supporting their own families' health care and welfare? And yet you liberals would rather see the money be given away for free? To promote laziness, depression, illness, noncompliance with healthcare, dependence, being cradled to the grave? This is compassion? Do you have any idea what happens to one when he is hooked on welfare/entitlement attitude? Read the truth....take a look at the statistics....you are pushing them to an early grave......

Once again the right cannot defend the actions of the President so it resorts to attacking the left or the liberals or the democrats or anybody. Dr. Freeze it is nice to see you quote someone other than ann Coulter but just because those guys were wrong does not make Bush right.

Cheney has a conflict of interest....just like every politician does....that does not make him a crook....

Bush was saying the same things everyone else said....that leads any intellectually honest individual to conclude that they were being told the same thing by their intel. reports....hench no one was lying

there is the defense for those to blind to see and for those who repeat the same thing over and over again eventually believing what they say

The others didn't send American kids to their deaths and waste resources that could be better used fighting terrorism instead of creating it. The sanctions where working which is why the country was in such bad shape. Yes, a few tried to profit from it like France and yes Halliburton under Cheney. Weakening the sanctions.

Freeze you can't reason with politicos like stevie as they continue to deny truth and facts. They believe themselves to be intellectually far above all others, but can not take truth and facts and debate what is real.

Reality is Iraq is no longer a threat to the U.S. or a threat to harbor and train terrorists. Not too mention all the Iraqies that will not be slaughtered for their convictions by a ruthless dicator.

Freeze, you have to understand that the liberals are so pissed and angry that the elitist view of how to run the country is not the popular view of most Americans. They can't stand the fact that Republicans control both houses of congress and the WH rendering their limp and outdated views useless.

Just imagine how pissed stevie and their group will be after this election, gaining seats in both houses and the President back for 4 MORE.:toast:  :thumb: :Yep:

You couldn't possibly be more wrong! LOL! I would love to debate the facts with you. Fact is that Clinton was no good. Fact is that Bush is no better. Fact is that Iraq was not a threat to us and that was proven by the fight they put up. Fact is that Iraq is in chaos and could go either way. Fact is that the terrorist are gaining strength no losing it. Do you feel safer now? If you do you are a fool. And I do not look at everything as politics as you obviously do. Somethings, like war for instance, should be above politics. Bush should stop politicalizing it. Right or wrong we are there and we must finish the job. How he plans on finishing it without getting the rest of the world involved I dunno. But the rest of the world must be involved.

StevieD your answer was to real to get any better answer. As for the word liberial. Lets let the biggest liberial we have had in over 50 years stand up and take credit, Mr Bush. Talk about a spender trying to buy votes. I never thought I would see a republican spend and spend like this dude. And he still is over 3 millon jobs behind what is needed. He just doesn't get it.
He's to busy worried about big ticket items like who is getting married.

the Tabliban wasn't probably going to invade either...yet they sponsored terror and did not comply with us

Iraq didn't comply either...i don't know how many times you need to be reminded that is why we went after them....

we aren't up against 19th century warfare anymore and our enemies aren't necessarily trying to invade us....if you are still waiting to put 1 lantern up if by land and 2 if by sea, you have slept through the last 20 years

Questions once again posed in thread and once again I see no answers to support allegations
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

what exactly are you accusing Cheny of ?

what proof do you have other than you hate Bush.

what exactly is Cheney's crime and tell me exactly what Bush lied about (what he said and why it is a lie).....

_______________________________________________
and once again I see this statement
"Do you feel safer now? If you do you are a fool."

I thought I answered this before with a list of about 20 reasons and asked for just 1 in return why we are not safer--and as always still waiting.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Why ,pray tell me, is it that liberals are obcessed with making allegations with no supporting facts.

If you want to show how undisputably corrupt a president is try findind FACTS--such as
impeachmentment-disbarrment-perjury-lining pockets even if it means pardoning 10 most wanted fugative who is without question guilty among numerous other fellons.

Birds of a feather--------

DTB Bush is a liberial that calls him self what ever. Cheney is a crook. Someone will have to show me how his ties with Hal have not served him well. In fact many have posted the story of his involvement. Only problem was we did not spend 5 years to look into it. They gave him a pass after what was it 2 months. Cheney would never stand the 6 years of investigation Clinton had. There is something wrong when folks in your party openly think he should be dropped as VP this election.
As for Conservs and Libs. Theres been plenty of bad ones of each. So just useing libs really doesn't mean a hell of alot. I guess I could paint the pitcure about what a real conservative looks like. It sure as hell is not Bush.
Not sure how a thread I started. About such a dumb statement that he gave over the weekend, has dam thing to do with either Libs or Conservs. It just shows what a idiot he is. You dont say on national TV im only get payed from Hal the rest of this year. Of course haveing that pay and stock options still going into his trust fund. Well none of that made him ever go out of his way to see Hal got little extra. Heck no he would never do that. At least not so he would get caught.
Wont belong and they will have me believeing Bush served in the NG. For reasons other then ducking Nam.
