Yeah but look at where all the money spending got them last year :D

So I guess what the Ravens are doing isn't too bad since they were in the playoffs and the 'Skins were not.

all i`m saying is

all i`m saying is

the guy`s a genius....there`s always room for that extra guy they want.....

i suspect that now that they have a real coach, they will be serious contenders...if not next year, certainly the year after...

Maybe you guys missed it.....

But Terrell Owens was supposed to be a free agent and he forgot to file his papers which means he remained part of the 49ers organization.

So even though the Ravens got Terrell Owens (which is a good move) they could have just signed him as a free agent and not given anything up.

P.S. If Terrell complains about getting the ball in SF, I'm sure he'll LOVE  playing with a 2nd year inaccurrate/maturing QB.

what you`re forgetting is

what you`re forgetting is

if terrel had been declared a free agent,NOBODY gets him at 5 or 6 mill this year...if he goes on the market as a free agent, you can bet he`d be shooting for a monster guaranteed signing bonus.......now,they get a bargain,at a minimal cap number hit(for one of the best receivers in football) and if he`s as bad as you say, they can cut him loose next year......

if things go smoothly, then they can negotiate....

best of both worlds.....

Good point. I didn't realize that.

But you know what, what we both might fail to realize is that T.O. is pissed that he forgot to file his paper and may hold out.

Wouldn't that be a biatch!

well...

well...

the skins did it again......they signed lb marcus washington from indy.......it wasn`t cheap either....

"The four-year veteran, who had played his entire career in Indianapolis, was generally regarded as one of the top 20 players in the unrestricted talent pool, and also had visited with the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.

He was en route to Washington on Thursday evening to approve a six-year contract worth slightly more than $24 million. The contract includes a $7 million signing bonus and total bonuses of about $10 million in the first three seasons.

Washington, 26, will become the fourth defensive veteran acquired by the ever-aggressive Redskins this week. The Redskins earlier added end Phillip Daniels, tackle Cornelius Griffin and cornerback Shawn Springs to a defense that statistically ranked No. 25 in the league in 2003"........

that`s some capologist they have over there on pennsylvania ave.........

I read a story that the Eagles had a deal in place for Terrell Owens which was James Thrash and a 5th round pick. Then the Ravens stepped in a with 2nd round pick in this year's draft and San Francisco took that without even consulting the Eagles to see if they would match the offer.

I think the 49ers new that Owens wanted to go to Philadelphia and therefore tried to screw him.

But you know what, I think either way he would have held out because I'm sure he remember that monster contract that David Boston got in San Diego and I think he's jealous.

Owens is a baby, and he is not a leader. He's like this new era of extremely talented young athletes who can't be leaders and are not capable of putting the team ahead of themselves.

P.S. Garcia is a much better QB to play with than Donny Mac, or Kyle Boller.
