normally i go the western union route for my withdrawals. got these two questions on other withdrawal methods at olympic:

NETELLER

* it appears that to transfer money to your bank account through neteller, its an 'olympic-to-neteller-to-your-bank-account process'. how long does it normally take for the money to show up in your bank account after you request a withdrawal from neteller? how long does it take for the first part of the process to go through (the olympic to neteller)?

* does olympic charge a flat-rate for neteller withdrawals? or is it a sliding scale based on amount being transferred

REGULAR MAIL

* interested in knowing the answer to this one. how true is the following statement from olympic:

You may request a bank check/draft to be sent through standard postal service. We do not recommend this method as it can take four or more weeks for postal mail to be received. If the request is cancelled after being issued, additional fees will apply.

has anyone paid the $5 fee and just gone regular mail? are they bullshitting when they say it can take up to four weeks?

my guess would be that theyre just trying to deter people from using this option for obvious reasons (so that they can make more money on fees for more express options)

i find it hard to believe that it takes a month to get a check. i would think like 5-7 days.

anyone use this method, either at olympic or another book?

I can only vouch for the "regular mail" option and it can takes a while, I think the longest I waited for a check was 21 days, counting weekends, and that was from Costa Rica, shortest was like 10 or 11 days so what they are telling you is worst case scenario, but it does take a while and the sites that offer Fedex usuall charge like $45 or so.

Don't use regular mail you can't track it pay the $25 Fed-X fee it's worth it.

They come to your door and hand you the check.:D

This the only way to go for me.

vinnie/anyone:

(re: fed ex check) if youre not going to be around during the delivery hours, will they leave it at the door for you or will they make you go to the local fed ex office to get it. im sure some people would rather not have it left, but i would rather them leave it at the door if im not there and save me the drive

also: does it take the check forever to clear in your bank (being from outside the US)?

You will have to pick it up.

I just take it to my bank and they had me the cash.

Make sure it's under 10 g's.

You don't have to be there yourself just someone at the house.

Someone has to sign for it.

if you live in an apartment, they drop it off at the office. if a house, most likely you'll have to pick it up at their location.

i had (3) 1K checks and always had half of it available and waited like 2 days for the other half.

re: pre-paid ATM, you set up an account with them here (very fast) and they then send you the ATM card in the mail. I received mine in 3 days but since they are mailed out from Ohio, you should get it in a day or 2 tops. You then activate it online and your $$ is available to withdraw. Their bank charges $1.50 per withdrawal plus whatever the ATM machine charges and that's it. In essence, about $3 per transaction. That beats paying those other fees.

You can also deposit into your offshore account in less than a minute with the card and your book even pays the transfer charges.

gman, i just looked on Olympic's site but I don't see the pre-paid ATM as an option so I would recommend going with Fed Ex.

You should get a door mail box or something and leave a sticky note requesting that the envelope be place in there. It shouldn't take more than 2 or 3 days to receive from the time you withdraw it.

hope this helps.

Funny that this subject has come up. Let me start with the bad.......Grand Central Sportsbook. They are a sponser on this site so I do not know if I am allowed to speak badly about them but oh well. Last week I recieved a payout from Grand Central for a decent amount. They paid me through Western Union but put a limit on how much I could take out of my account, their reasoning was that Western Union only allowed them to send a certain amount a day(not true). I recieved my money from western union and decided to play the remaining balance I had with Grand Central Sportsbook on 5 games. I won all 5 games and decided I would get another Western Union payout. I called Grand Central Sportsbook the next day and they said they could not let me take my money out through Western Union. Their new reason was that each customer of Grand Central Sportsbook can only take out a certain amount of their winnings through Western Union before their not allowed to use Western Union as a payout method. I was upset, but I figured I only played the 5 extra games to get my money out of Grand Central Sportsbook, I thought my 5 team parlay was a shot in the dark. So I told Grand Central Sportsbook I would take a Next Day Air Fed Ex Check. They proceeded to tell me that all checks were sent out on Friday, keep in mind that I ws speaking with this person on Monday. I said fine send my check out Next day Air on friday, They told me that they have one method of shipment and I would receive the check on next thursday (10 days after I made the request). To top it off this method of shipment would cost me $40 and I had not played enough games in 2 months to keep my initial bonus. To make a long story short I am going to have to wait till next thurday for my check and I will never place another bet with Grand Central Sportsbook.

The Best Sportsbook with payouts is Olympic in my opinion. Always on time and accurate.........no B.S.

GMan sorry for posting such a long reply in your post and hopefully not to off the topic.

I love the Prepaid ATM deal. It is the cheapest, and fastest route to getting my money.

You link your checking account to the prepaid ATM. Transfer from checking to ATM, then to offshore.

I can pull money out of my offshore and into my Prepaid ATM, and then walk to an ATM, and have instant access to it.

The only drawback is that you can only pull out $400 or whatever the daily limit is on the prepaid ATM card. So I may have to pull it out over a couple of days.

pinnacle is who i mainly use. once they e-mail the tracking # you can call fedex and tell them to drop off if noone is home.
every check i have gotten from pinnacle comes out of boca raton.
once you tell them you want money you have it within 2-3 days.
my bank doesn't put holds on the check either.
works out pretty good for me.

Gman.....Ive been using Neteller for a little over 2? years now. IMO its the only way to go. Almost all shops allow 1 free payout per month. Just made a withdrawal today via Neteller through my Bowmans acct and it was in my Neteller within 25 mins. Ive used Neteller for Pinny, Oasis, Vip, Gameday, 5Dimes, IIS, and about 5 more and have never encountered a problem. Another note is that I do all my transactions via Eletronic Funds Transfer. Once you get your account certified it's very simple.:)
