miami-5 6 units wvu is going to end just like last year will have trouble getting a nit bid which i don't see. to many little schools with great records and good recs are getting knocked out early in their tournys and they should get the little dance before big conf teams with 1 and 2 games above 500

unr-20 4 units they can name their score and even though won't help rpi a blow out will stick in minds of voting comm. come bid time if they don't get the auto.

long shots on ml looking at wash and looking at bama won't be around to say if i will or won't but believe they both could win out right lines are not that big but in the minds of the gambler it would be a long shot.

Mike will get there on may 3 rd down south right now, will meet you over at Tim and mikes one night and you can tag along with me if you want have to see a few college pitchers in pa , va and md.

a few more i really like but tuff to play the favs right now i hit and ran this week and made a big halftime bet that won, laid low since that game and the 4-0 sweep on tues.

utep ml 5 units out of them or rice the worse you should do is split can't see both going down but you never know this time of the year.

DePaul-7.5 6 units the blue d really need this game i son't think they will have a let down after the cinn game, IMO they are still on the bubble cusa will get a few teams in so need to win as many as you can can't see all their higher teams getting in so some one is going to be left out.

you have cinn with 20 wins, memphis with 21 wins,uncc with 19 wins i think could be 18, louisville with 19 wins, uab with 17 or 18 and depaul with 18and st.louis with 16 wins . so can't see cusa getting more then 4 in maybe 5 but you have 7 teams who are fighting for a shot and then you have marquett with 15 or 16 they could make a run in the cusa tourny and make it hard on someone, they have played below what they should be able to have done this year. so this is a very very very importent game for DePaul. it will be fun to see if cusa and the wac get stiffed and for how many because of acc maryland lot of writers are saying they might sneak in with a lesser rec, big 12 with missouri , colorado, ok, and neb and iow st a few of them will get in just because of big 12. big ten could steal a extra spot that they should not get with iowa, mich or purdue. south east has bama and lsu and also fl who will steal a spot of a team with a better rec, the big conf will hurt the wac and cusa as well as smaller conf teams, just how it is.

so Depaul needs to win and win big and still might need to win first round cusa tourney game to get a at large.big east will get six in with no problem by the end of their tourney they should have 6 teams with 20 wins so have to take them bc will steal someones spot.

Also look at byu on the ml unlv is coming into this game with 2 banged up players and both are very key. i know it is sr day and unlv at t&m but byu needs this game also mtw is not going to get 3 teams in no way just not a respected hoops conf anymore, i only see 2 out of 3 making it in umless someone pulls off a upset in the tourny and it will be af, utah or byu as your 3 teams and only 2 will go someone out of those 3 will be nit bound IMO.


And back to what I was saying about cusa abd other mid major and small conf teams being left home for teams with 3 to 4 less wins but come from named conf. as weak as i think the pac 10 is wash might just back door themself into a spot with the way they played the 2nd half and a win on sat would give it to them and have seen funny things happen with big confrences when you have a school that is in no matter what and a bubble team, more teams in means more over all money for conf;) yes cards would love to go undefeated but conf would also like to have the nice extra chunk of change it happens, now this is a little different since team is undefeated but would not be caught off guard, would not be the first time a school takes one for the conf, seen it in baseball many times, and not talking about a few hundread extra bucks if you can get in and win a fisrt round game even brings in more conf. cash. trust me it happens, but like i said cards being unbeaten makes it a tougher sale to pitch but still would not shock me because they will get a number 1 sead either way.

You guys probably think I am full of bs but told you about the wash and cards game, pac 10 was only going to get 32 teams in and with wash getting a win against cards would put them in and lot more money for the pac 10, i have set on these conf calls in baseball in college when you have teams on the bubble going against a conf team who is a lock it is all about money, and not gambling money but conf money and what went on wash gets the win and pac 10 gets 3 teams in now where before would of got 2 so conf gets a nice extra check, you can call me nuts or crazy but i have been in on these calls as a coach, take one for the conf game. you don't have to believe it but it does happen amd like I said has nothing to do with gambling , but it does have to do with big money, looks like a good day will try and post a game if I have one for sun, it has been a long day need diego and the over 9.5 rounds in the fight tonight.
