Jekyll & Hyde.............. A CT play never, never leaves you comfortable.......They play like # 1 for 10 min. and 10 min. later their getting beat up and down the court by the likes of a depleted St Johns team while throwing the back door open to blow the cover on a 30 pt lead. They have soooo much talent but they don't play well frequently........Denham Brown who began the season at 17 ppg now comes off the bench and takes 3 or 4 shots a game .....double clutches on open 3s, brings it to the paint and gets hammered. Villanueva, a defensive liability, looks better lately and Josh Boone is learning fast from "Mek" What happens to Ben Gordon......game to game......who knows????
BUT.........last 10 minutes of the "NOVA" game and the last game vs the "HALL" seemed to signal that the games were over and the time to play had arrived!! Gordon showed up, D was great and all played well!
CT is playing closer to expectations and if it continues today at the Carrier Dome CT should win by 6- 10
Box.........went with the "Hall" today also
