Have you watched the previous 3 years? The show fell right into place, at least for me. Bringing in Robert Loggia and Steve Buschemi can only help.

No matter how hard he tries, he's not gonna get in his shrinks pants. Think he about guranteed that tonight.

Die-hard Soprano fan here. If you haven't watched the previous 3 years, you should get caught up and rent them at Blockbuster.

Hang in there.

Your buddy is dead-on. The 1st 2 seasons were the best, no doubt. I think this season is going to be great!

I think the first two seasons were the best, too, but have never felt disappointed. My favorite show of all-time, hands down.

You really need to have been with it from the start, and of course the first show of the new year is going to be slow starting, you have to build up.

I like dead like me on showtime waiting for it's 2nd season and love oz my number 1 of all time and still watch it everyday is married with children:D

slow start tonite, will build up all season to enormous climax. . . oops, must've spent too much time looking at those pix in "Melissa" thread.

did anyone else see the bear as a metaphor for tony? my wife thinks i'm crazy, but then again, she's 34 weeks pregnant and not quite thinking straight either.

I actually thought the bear might show up when Tony was there, and he wouldn't be able to kill it like he would a human because he loves animals (i.e. the ducks). Then something like that would make him realize he still needs to see Dr. Melfi, which is obviously going to be difficult after the incident on today's show.

I love the show but I was disapointed in the last season. This first show was pretty boring to me also but I think they had to set up the new story line. With all the time off between shows you would think they could have done a little better than blowing away a waiter. Yes, watch the earlier shows to get into the story.

I LOVE THE SERIES , but it was kind of slow last night................basically the first show set us up for the rest of the season..............I think it should be good!

+ if you haven't followed the previous seasons, I could see how you would be lost from the start..........

I'm with fletcher, love that "dead like me show" on showtime, very good and a different way at looking at things, gotta love married with children. I have a cousin who is a special agent for the FBI in Kansas City, says the sopranos is very realistic, never seen it myself, tried once but the wife found the language to offensive
Peace,
ll
