gl2u hellah.just got done reading ur post.but why be so harsh on the fans here in buffalo? ru sure ur not playing this play for the way u feel? to me it seems like u are. but i dont see everyone and there mother on buffalo right now. u maybe pissed at a certain individual from this board, but if thats the reason ur so high on niu, well my friend u maybe taking down other individuals w/u. who like to follow u. i think ur a great asset to this board, but after reading ur post and being so harsh on the fans and the facilities here at there home court, why not just give ur main reasons on why u like niu so much. either way im on buffalo for different reasons, and trust me its not a homie play either. gl2u my friend and lets see what happens tonite

i have seen it a million times.....just when a team plays well enough to change the minds of many and they place their money on that team.....they get screwed.

i have to chime in and i will admit. i do not know nearly as much as some of the people in here about the MAC. in fact, i don't know shidt about it. GF comes in as a fan, and that's fine. he has some "inside info", whatever. i've been reading and taking notes the last few years from hellah's threads, both fball and bball, and this guy truly knows his shidt about this conference. has he been wrong? yes, everyone has. but i will tell you this. i will take his opinions a lot more to heart than i would a student. not to say GF isn't admirable for sticking up for "his" team. but come on, buffalo? laying 10-11 points to a team some predicted to win the conference?
also, i'm not to sure we should be looking at consensus numbers for these games today. not a very big card and i'm sure there are tons of bettors just playing to have action. kind of like a thursday night football game.
just some thoughts from someone who coat tails those that have a positive past.

this is the one reason northern illinois looks kind of appealing. thats what a lot of people dont realize. niu was brutal at times this year and they clearly underachieved and then just bottomed out.
the funny thing is- had this game hypothetically been played at the beginning of the season, it could easily have been northern illinois that was laying the 10 to buffalo.
