Look at it this way......with that part gone from the car, now they can get to something solid to hook the tow strap to....
Reminds me of a friend of mine that was going home one day....during the trip he had to slow down and stop....a tractor was pulling some car out of a snowy ditch.....the car owner hooked up the chain and gave the tractor driver the thumbs up to go......the car lurched a little bit and then the whole exhaust system got torn out from under the car.......
could have been related to these guys in the video....
