Whoever wins this game is definately one-and-done in the tourney. The Horizon isn't the league it has been in recent years.

I gotta say......I dont know if I have seen that team that I say to myself "That team is gonna cause some trouble in the tournament" I cant say it about Northern Iowa....not sure about either of these teams, I dont think the MAC is anything to worry about this year......Could this be a year with not as many upsets?

I think the middle of the road major conference teams are where it is at this year........

for as bad of a 1st half as that was, it still had a shot at going over at the 2:30 mark.

UMW shot themselves in the foot by pressing, it really slow down the game, in my opinion they were too aggresive on D.........this team trives in a track meet......................oh well

tease:

id definitely disagree there

east tennessee and manhattan are capable of sweet 16 appearances. and this louisiana-lafayette team is GOOD. really good. their record might not be the best, but they are dangerous. lots of athletes and they can nail the 3.

no shortage of live dogs in my opinion

the one team thats grossly overrated is southern illinois. i dont think they should get in. of course they will, but theyre not as good as people think

conversely, it seems people have really soured on utah state because theyre not great on the glass but that defense is as good as youll see in the entire country. i wouldnt want to play em

great point. add them to the list. cronin's guys could be a "louisville junior" kind of team.

gman......we will just have to disagree on that one i guess. i dont see it....i will give you east tenn state....i really like that team. manhattan is not bad and may win a game. i just dont see anything coming out of the usual conferences, mac, missouri valley, etc. i am not a big fan of lafayette, and murray state, if they get a decent matchup may win a game.......i would be completely surprised if a mid major made it to the round of 16 other than e tenn state

Is it safe to assume that you aren't considering Gonzaga a mid-major?

Manhatten is one and done, ETSU would have to match up against a team that doesnt want to run. Of the teams that I have watched Murray State would be the best bet to upset someone, in the MAC if WMU makes it they could be quite dangerous. If Neveda Reno makes it then they could also be very dangerous. I agree with Bigtease most of the teams that have played so far are going to have problems with depth and huge matchup problems.
