Any thoughts on this game? Seem to be two teams headed in opposite directions. TCU has lost 4 out of 5 and Marquette has won 4 out of 5. TCU defeated Marquette 85 - 79 a little over a month ago but has since lost 5 of 8. Both teams seem healthy. Carib is showing the total at 141.5 which seems low considering the score of the first game. How much confidence does the Louisville win give Marquette? Appreciate your thoughts.

GRM:

Marquette has been a tough team to read this year. They've been terribly inconsistent. However, I think they will really be up for this game given the thumping they took from TCU at home a month ago. I'll take MU and the points today.

TCU is just not that good. Yeah, they've played some good ball about a month ago but that was it. They have no inside game and if they don't shoot well from the outside they lose. Look for Marquette to pound the ball inside and control the tempo today. I don't think you'll see as high scoring a game as the last time they met. MU 72 TCU 59

Marquette has not been able to follow a big game win all year they have major problems. Merrit is the softest 6"11 player in the country, Novak is the worst defensive player and can only shoot 3's and must have an open look to get the shot. Diener tries to do to much when his team is behind that being said over the total second half.
