but for starters...go to

www.packetnews.com
www.xdccspy.com
and type in likeee...metallica or something, you`ll see albums and all...and when you clikc on the name or number...it`ll take u to the room...go to the top of mIRC and click the icon that says "DCC"
on send request pick "auto get"
on chat request pick "auto get"
and where it says "ignore" pick "disabled" and uncheck the "turn ignore back on"
then while your in that room...press ctrl+v - it auto copies what you wanted when u clicked the name or number at the site...then it`ll put you in que...then just wait for the download...then when its done, go to c:\Program Files\mIRC\downloads (that defualt) and you`ll see either a zip, rar, or tar file..I recommend using Power Archiver to extract these files....
