Have caught this guy recently on Letterman, Conan etc. etc. best
new blues rock band I've heard in many years. Evidently their opening for Clapton touring this summer.

Yeah, this band is great. I found out about them when they opened for Gov't Mule a while back. If you enjoy blues rock you should check out Gov't Mule for sure. If you're interested in any live shows by either of these bands check out sharingthegroove.org. They have bit torrents of all the bands that allow taping and sharing of their shows plus 1000's of bootlegs and some soundboard recordings.

war Eagle, if your still in Europe, I believe Robert Randolph is just starting European tour with Clapton.

Mb, do you need any special software to download these live shows? Never been to that site.

You need several things, but most important is a DSL or Broadband connection. Most of these shows are anywhere from 750mb and up in size. Bit Torrents are in either SHN or FLAC format which are lossless compression formats. This means nothing is lost in the transfer from either a DAT or digital recording to this format. Check out sharingthegroove.org then Audio Bit Torrents then Getting Started. It explains how the process works and has links to the Bit Torrent download software and the decompression software from SHN or FLAC to wav files. The only link not on the site is for the Feurio burning software which will convert and burn wav and mp3 files to audio files and the cd can be played in any cd player. This is found at http://feurio.com. Another good source of info is http://etree.org that has links to the above software and step by step instructions with screen captures.

Robert Randolph is incredible.

You guys are bringing back college memories with Gov't Mule. I was at a party where they were playing when the bassist got electrocuted becuase of how bad the connections were. This was about an hour into the show, and they just said **** this and walked off.
