obviously the NCAA is loosley interpreting their won rules, but AF should not as a lower see be getting to play that close to home, ditto for Wiscy. that was part of the "changing" after So Ill 2 years ago and Texas v Miss St in Dallas.

But Kansas is just absurd - seems like every year (last year Syracuse) so 3/4 seed is given a ridiculous advantage

Agree my Jayhawks may have been seeded a bit high, but seems to me these things even out over the years if you're a perennial tournament team .... don't forget last year that Kansas got sent out West as a #2 seed while Texas got the Midwest #1 even though KU won regular season last year (and beat Texas head to head).... explain that one to me Sun?? The POD system is used to help sell seats also which should even out over the years as the 1st/2nd round sites move around the country.

If you look at the other #4 seeds all except Maryland are playing in close proximity to home .... of course playing in KC helps Kansas and I'm not sure how the committee figures that part out .... for instance none of the #3 seeds received any preferential treatment like that??

Don't get me wrong Sun, agreed KU received major break with their draw (and I luv it!!!) .... Jayhawks should be able to make it to St Louis but something about UIC in the 1st round scares me a little .... good luck to the Horns as my folks live down there in Georgetown/Sun City & are season ticket holders .... would love to see UT take out Roy & NC in 2nd round!!
