Don't know if anyone caught it but I saw about five minutes of Sportscenter today and Mike Greenberg said that over 600,000 brackets have been filled out on espn.com and the overwhelming upset pick so far has been Manhattan, and as much I did intially like this pick I'm afraid they are becoming very trendy. Also think that line is lower than I hoped for.

Just my 2 cents, played Manhattan when the lines first came out really big. Got them at +6.

Think they have a great chance to win outright! Florida just got spanked and I think Manhattan will cover.

Who knows though.

Good luck in whatever you play!!!!

C-Town - not sure, haven't checked out the Espn site, they might have numbers there?

TJ: I in no way think that Manhattan is a bad play, and will be pulling for them for sure. Just think that the line is losing value more and more each day (I believe it opened early at +7.5 at a few books)

for what is worth to anyone, I just heard walsh has a tennis ball size blister on his foot and has not practiced, but is supposed to play. they are supposed to put some protective coating over his foot, possibly nu-skin or something like it.

Blackman,I think the Jaspers are in trouble vs Florida. And everyone is on them.Esp up here in NY.This is not a good matchup vs this type of team.
Will finish my capp tomr on them.Listened to Bobby G on the radio. With all the media hoopla his kids are getting cocky hearing there going to the Sweet 16.He said today at practice the 1st thing he's doing is "deflating heads".

As far as the blister on Walsh's foot.....I am sure that if any of you guys have played basketball before, you have gotten these blisters on the ball of your foot.....they are truly no big deal. You just throw a protective covering on there and usually 2 pairs of socks and your foot wont move, so you are good to go.....no big deal.

As far as Manhattan goes......Box is right, this is a huge public team right now. It hasnt scared me off completely, but it has definatly scared me off a little bit. I still think that Florida sucks and these guys can handle them.

But I will tell ya that I would feel more comfortable that the Hattan is over confident as opposed to being under confident.

big tease, and yes I did have a full tuition scholarship at the naia level for basketball thank you very much. i do agree that from time to time your feet get beat up pretty good, but a tennis ball size blister?? don't recall ever having to deal with that. not sure if that will effect him or not. just something to keep an eye out for, hence the thread 'tidbit of info'.
