Who do you guys think are the top 5 biggest dicks in MLB? (Not based on performance results).

Here's 5 quick ones that come to mind.

5. Pedro (He's more of a whining pussy)
4. Kevin Brown (Total ass-goblin)
3. Milton Bradley (This guy is outta hand..even his teammates can't stand him)
2. Rocket (Hope he gets shit-shackled at Minutemade)
1. Barry (not just because I'm a Dodger fan but because it's the truth)

felt like putting selig in there too

Charlie - Since you didn't put him in I will:

1) Bud Selig - ruined the All-Star Game two years ago and will leave MLB and the Brewers in worse shape than before he touched them both.

2) Roberto Alomar - I'd still like to see an ump spit in his face and see what happens.

3) John Rocker - Too bad MLB didn't hog-tie him and leave him in either the Bronx or Harlem after his comments on NYC.

4) Barry Bonds - even before the human growth hormones he has taken it was amazing to see how his head fit through some doors...

5) Carl Evrett - after the Sox/Yankees garbage from two years ago I'd still like to see a Yankee throw at his head. Biggest baby in the sport.

selig did not ruin the all-star game imo. The idiots managing the game did. since when does every player have to play? when i grew up watching the AS game in the 70's and 80's there were always guys who didn't get in. EVERY game there were a couple guys who didn't get to play. The studs got to play all game from time to time. Hardly ever see that anymore. now it's all about not hurting anyone's ego. 1 ab and out here and there. The two managers for that game had the same amount of players all playing the exact same game that has always been played. I blamed Brenly and Torre back then and I still do. just my opinion.

to stay on topic my vote for 5 biggest a-holes are..

Tony Larussa
Roger Clemens
Carl Everett
Greg Maddux
Donald Fehr

Manson.........Garciaparra got an honorable mention just for the ridiculous ball breaking antics he goes through before EACH pitch with his hands, gloves, etc. He gets me nervous just watching him. He may be great guy, I dunno. What I do know that he wouldn't be doing it a second or third time in yesteryear against Maglie, Gibson, Drysdale et al. He'd have one by(or in) the side of his ear really quick. I am amazed the pitchers & umps let him get away with it. I can see once or twice per at bat, but it is after each pitch. You would think it would disturb a pitchers rhythm. And from the umpires standards, well, they are trying to shorten the length of the games aren't they? I bet he adds 2-3 minutes to the length of a game, all by himself. Anyway, legitimate or not, that's my reason. I probably should have given a mention to Alomar, but he's got a lotta votes already.

I have the same question for JCB: Why Greg Maddux?

Hey Hitman ..goddamn you are right on the money!!! Tough to call him an ahole because of that ritual shit but yes I totally agree that it's outta-hand. Never really thought about it but you are so right...
And you also hit the nail on head with naming Drysdale and Gibson. If someone pulled that shit with them on the hill they'd have a fastball in their ear.

P.S. yeah, why Maddux?

Have the same question about Maddux but did not want to appear as a "homer".

Never have heard anything negative about Maddux.

Maddux is purely a selfish call on my part. I am a long time Giants fan so he was a rival in '89 Cubs/Giants classic series and then went to the hated division rival Braves in '93 just in time to help them screw the Giants out of the playoffs even with 103 wins. That and his laid back, yet cocky demeanor is why I list him. As you guys point out, not a lot of factual info to back it up. Just personal I guess.

Was 93 the year that LA beat SF in the final game 10-1 to dash all playoff hopes? That was sweet. :)
Also remember the same day that ATL got Crimedog there was a big fire in the left field pavillion at Fulton Co. stadium. After that the Braves went on a tear and won the West.

K, for the answer JCB.............we'll give you a chance to remove/replace or place Maddux on the DL at this time. Really tough call for you to make him one of your starter's based on those credentials. Possible relacement candidates to consider if you desire:
Canseco is trying to get onto someones roster this year, so he's still in the game. Ther's always Willie Mays ( for his blatant misguided attitude nowadays and his antics/behavior at signing shows), Pete Rose (not on my list, but can see if he was on another's)or Ricky Henderson. :)

'93 was definitely the year LA waxed the Giants on the last day of the season. Solomen Torres will never be forgiven. I think Piazza had a pair of long balls. I will never forget the McGriff trade either. unbelievable year. Atlanta went like 14-0 against the young franchise Rockies and Colorado beat the Giants like 7 times that year.

I guess I will have to think about a replacment to Maddux. My heart gets too involved. I would put Ozzie Smith on there too because of the cheap shot to Will Clark in '87. Don't think he would go over too well on this list either. I thought about Rickey but didn't put him on it. I will get a better one. let me think some more.

I was right abot Bradley....lol

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) -- Milton Bradley abruptly left Cleveland's training camp Thursday, one day after he was pulled from an exhibition game for not running out a pop fly.

The center fielder drove out of Chain of Lakes Park in the morning. His name was not on the lineup card for Thursday's game against Detroit.

Bradley has a history of transgressions on and off the field, and this one may lead the Indians to cut ties with him. He signed a one-year $1.73 million contract in November.

On Wednesday, Bradley was removed from the game against Houston by Wedge for not running hard on a second-inning pop-up that dropped for a single.

The Indians were counting on Bradley this year to bat cleanup and be a productive everyday player. He was having a solid 2003 season before hurting his back and missing the final six weeks.

Bradley had been a model citizen all spring, promising he had changed and would not be a distraction. In February, he was sentenced to three days in jail for driving away from police after being stopped for speeding.

I heard this through a few degrees of separation, but still needs to be said.

A good buddy of mine had an uncle that knew a guy that worked for the Pirates when Bonds was there. Said "guy" invited said "uncle" and his 9-year-old son into the locker room one day. The little boy went up to Bonds with a bat and asked Bonds, "Mr. Bonds, can you sign this bat on the sweet spot?" Bonds replied, "Do you want the damn bat signed or not, kid?"

Who says that to a little kid? Personally, I hope Bonds rips his knee up, and can't rehab because of the juice-effect, and never passes Babe or Aaron.
