The Denver Nuggets have played well enough on the road lately to help them bounce back from their worst stretch of the season. The Nuggets will try to win their third straight for the first time in a month when they begin a three-game road trip against the Boston Celtics.
Denver moved a season-high nine games over .500 (32-23) with a win over Philadelphia on Feb. 17, but then lost five straight and eight of the next nine games to put its playoff hopes in serious jeopardy.
But the Nuggets, clinging to the final playoff spot in the West, have three victories in their last four games, with two coming on the road. Denver could easily be riding a four-game win streak, but suffered a tough 98-97 loss at New Jersey last Wednesday.
Andre Miller had 24 points and 11 assists and Carmelo Anthony scored 23 in Sunday's 102-75 win over the Utah Jazz, who trail the Nuggets by 1 1/2 games in the West.
