anyone know if you make a profit by playing stronger rated conferences and fading weaker ones.was wondering if you played every acc team, conference usa,sec and big east team but faded big ten,big 12,mountain west, mac ,a 10 and colonial teams would you win units.i believe in first 2 days you will be up.i will not do this but i will post units won or lost on sat.

ATS spread since 98 by conference

ACC 33-37-2
A10 14-16-1
Big 12 41-36
Big East 42-33-2
Big 10 56-39-2
Conf USA 14-21
Pac 10 33-39-1

LOWELL...

I HAD THE SAME QUESTION....LOGICALLY THE POWER CONF. WOULD SEEM TO HAVE AN ADVANTAGE...JUST NOT SURE MYSELF...

NOT BEING A BALL BUSTER ..BUT THE ABOVE-MENTIONED LIST REALLY DOES NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION UNLESS WE SEE WHO THOSE TEAMS IN EACH CONF. WENT HEAD TO HEAD WITH...

I SUPPOSE WE CAN ASSUME THAT THE SMALLER CONF. WENT AGAINST BIGGER CONF. BECAUSE MOST LIKELY THEY WOULD BE A LOW SEED AGAINST A HIGHER SEED...BUT I DONT WANT TO MAKE THAT ASSUMPTION

GOOD LUCK

HOPEFULLY ILL FIND SOMETHING THAT WILL HELP US ..

Good point Cooz - a lot of the ACC's wins/losses are coming via the Big East, Big 12, Big Ten.....and vise versa.

Those numbers don't really tell us how they faired vs the mid-majors.
