seton hall +3---waiting for the number 3 or will buy it--seton hall very tough team that can defend and play physical with anyone. Arizona more of a finesse team--will not like Seton hall bumping them all over the court. Like Barret's leadership and toughness, the hall will find a way to win this game. Arizona strength is their athleticism, feel the hall can guard these guys.
Depaul -2.5--just think they are the better team.
Air Force +8.5------carolina very talented but do not have enough discipline to go into Denver---and not get frusterated playing against methodical clock running air force. AIr Force obviously an underdog, but they did win their conference with a 12-2 record. See major value in this line, everyone knows how talented UNc is and with air force losing first round to Colorado st. 8.5 is a lot of pts for a team(airforce)--that puts a premium on the basketball and does not turn it over, and makes thier free-throws. They are going to frusterate Carolina forcing them to take ill-advised shots. The question is can Air force limit the 2nd and 3rd oppurtunites for Carolina.. Carolina will try and run but with Air force running clock and Carolina playing better defense, under may be worth a look. no play for me on total just a thought. Maybe playing against acc in the first-round has some value right now, they are the best confrence from top to bottom(no doubt about that)--but lines may be abit high. Bottom line, Air Force has 22 wins and plays the kind of basketball i like getting 8,5 pts
Gonzaga -18--------imo--this team has 3 NBa players--in Stepp,Turiaf,and Viollete. I believe that coming from a weak conference everyone is counting them out. I having them playing Uconn in the final game--Uconn will be laying 3 and the total will be 153-154-------------WHy??/ this team can do it inside out. They have 3 pts shooters and 2 guys down low that can score the baskeball. As a team they are excellent shooting free-throws. MOre importantly they rebound--big key to winning games. Valporaisio does not impress me at all. Not the same teams from few yrs ago. They don't have the guys that can shoot it from downtown like in the past. Can't see them having their way in the paint with the size of Gonzaga. Gonzaga has offense punch with the big 3,and a freshman in Morrison that comes off the bench and flat out scores. If he played for Valpo--he would be their leading scorer IMO. Bottom line--this is a mismatch game,and Gonzaga when winning keeps running and keeps scoring. which is why i like the over as well.
