no threads on this issue.surely refs must have thought it was duke they were putting on the line.no one is supposed to get calls like that unless they are duke

Stanford outscored them by 25 from the floor and lost the game. I didnt play this or any other NCAA game today, Ive been spooked by the officials....if I could only handicap what the refs were going to do.
Its weird how one team will get all the calls over a long period of time, and the announcers will be screaming about the shift in momentum, but never mention how it really came about. That one team was able to foul and not be called, while the other team was not allowed to breathe.

i think free throw numbers can be skewed. if all the fouls are being called on the floor, youre still getting call but just not shooting FTs
i think the overall foul total is more representative of the officiating.
that was 30-17 in favor of bama.
i dont think the game was that poorly officiated. stanford just wasnt as aggressive as alabama in the final 10:00

What I didn't like about the officiating in this game was all of the away from the ball fouls that were being called on Stanford. Bama was playing physical defense as well..grabbing, bumping.. but Stanford was the team continually getting called for holds or blocking calls away from the ball.

Alabama couldnt hit a damn shot to safe their lives, so they continually drove to the rack time after time...
Stanford shot alot of jumpers and about 15 of those FT's came with Stanford down under 2min left
