not sure what you northerners have heard but talked to a TT contact tonight that tells me they are very concerned that Knight has coached his last game and is headed to Columbus

as an IU alum, I can tell you I would love to see him at state.....then he wouldn't have any other choice than to play us. Tech was supposed to play IU this year but when knight took the job at tech he made sure it was taken off of the schedule....no dodging IU then bobby....better think about that before you leave the outback of texas and come home......don't think he could handle IU whipping his a$$....IU will be back strong with the class they have coming in....please go to columbus bobby...please!!! :thefinger
Well I am doubting IU will ever be strong as long as Mike Davis is on the bench. I just cannot understand the hatred of Knight by IU fans. All he did was win.

he used to win when he was at IU.....but the last 4 seasons in bloomington, he took us to the dance we were bounced in the first round.....and 3 of the 4 beaten very badly!! The dislike many IU fans have for him is the fact that he can't let go.....he can't move on with his life and coaching.....he screwed up his job at IU, nobody else to blame....yet he filed a lawsuit against IU claiming they wrongfully fired him and they owed him such and such amount of money.....throw on top of it all the bs he feeds to recruits that are looking at IU...well, I think that is reason enough......if he would've just moved on and said he wished IU the best in the future there wouldn't be any hard feelings.....but he's out to bury the school now and people don't like a$$holes like that.....doing chit out of spite....not when you caused your own problems bobby sorry!!! I have no respect for a guy who can't take responsiblity for his own actions.....he leads a double standard life for sure.....what he expects of others he doesn't of himself. :nono:

Very well put MCity. Your sentiments are very unlike the other IU fans I know. You know the ones I'm talking about. Go around wearing an IU sweatshirt and a Texas Tech hat. If Keady were to leave Purdue and coach somewhere else I would wish him well and hope he does well but would not buy any of that schools apparel.

those aren't IU fans to me......nobody is bigger than the school. I have a couple of friends who do that chit....wear tech gear....claim to be IU fans!! :nono:
