im starting to get ready for mac football for next season. I usually start capping it around this time...get a heads up on the recruits and such. Fawking Iraq bullshit prevented me from doing this last year...but I was wondering if you heard anything out of ordinary from the conference. One thing Im liking in the off season is Frank DeBorg from CMU resigning and hiring Brian Kelly from Grand Valley State. Plus, CMU is laying a new field in that stadium.

Im also gonna ride BG as some might people think they will lose a step without Josh Harris...where I think they will even GAIN a step without him...Omar Jacobs is gonna be incredible...trust me.

Will fade NIU...

Dont know whats up with Akron firing the coach and all...

alot of research still to be done...I look forward to the season allready :D :D :D

also with CMU....I think moving Jeff Jenerou (6-7, 308), last year's starting right tackle, being moved to left guard is awesome. They`ll have Jeff Jenerou and Adam Kieft on the left side....and we both know Kieft is NFL bound...4 starting lineman coming back....with Jerry Seymour at tail...gotta love it

ill put some stuff together. but as you alluded to, that brian kelly hire was big time for them. its not a stretch to say that the grand valley team he coached last year could have beaten central michigan last year. thats how good of a program he built at d-2 grand valley state. you know his grand valley team from a few years ago AVERAGED like 57 points a game? thats disgusting. hes really gonna get that cmu program back on its feet.

spang might be able to provide some insight into the akron situation. he follows akron hoops more than football, but im sure he can contribute something. everything ive heard about coach brookhart has been positive and he is held in high esteem by the pitt panther program that he left. panthers certainly had no problems generating offense the past few seasons.
