I don't see any difference....Duke still gets away with whatever they want!!! but then again, Illinois does stink to high heaven....they are not a good team by any stretch!! :nono:

now now Lowell I know you are a Duke fan, and I am not saying refs were the difference in this game tonight, but you arent really going to dispute that teams playing Duke, particular;ly non-conference, are going to be disadvantaged by the officials are you? It's like only Duke fans and Dick Vitale don't notice this. The only thing in sports that comes close are the phantom fouls called on anybody guarding Michael Jordan in just about any NBA playoff game.
i think duke had 14 fouls and illinios 16 tonight.if you look at free throws shot all year you would be amazed at how close duke's number is to competition.wake i believe shoots more than anyone.i thought 35 fouls shots for xavier were out of line and only 16 for texas. the local unc and due boards are full of ranting from unc fans at how the refs cheat for duke.my reply is the commissioner is john swofford from unc-tell him. i wish they would play with no fouls called.suit me just fine.
well the travesty of the 2001 Final Four will never go away to me -Duke played 2 games 8 on 5. But, I will agree for such a quality league teh ACC oddicials are a joke. I am surprised they dont get Teddy Valentine to be their head guy.
as a cleveland cav fan i am still fuming over push off by mj on craig ehlo before final shot in playoffs about ten yrs ago.
don't forget about mj's push off on utah's bryon russell in the most critical game of the series, that one still pisses me off.

utah had that game.didn't mj steal the ball from malone at the end also.the one call that hurt the most financially was the phantom interference call vs miami that came late in title football game with ohio state.i had huge teaser with the canes.
