Missed game and just watched recording. Lucas sure came through. Not sure why Martelli didnt call timeout, or why Nelson didnt use the last 2.5 seconds to get to the basket instead of a fadeaway. Also interesting note on Lucas' shot - look at the tape - refs could have called a 7 second lane violation. I always thought the rule was 3 - one could argue it doesnt matter but I was thinking when was the last time a 3 second violation was called? I cant even remember one the entire tournament. SO why exactly is the rule there - or is it like traveling and carrying in the NBA?

Anyway, nice for the Big 12 and a shot for 3 straight years of 2 FF teams. Would rather the Cowboys not win it all, but at this time of year I have only one mantra - ABD

HAHA I'm with you on the ABD school of thought. I'm still bitter at how the refs helped them against Arizona a few years ago.
