I need to get more active in this competition. I see "coinflip" has joined as well. I don't remember a poster on Mad Jack's named coin flip, but I have my suspicions who it is.

This is getting pretty outrageous. The more the merrier, I guess. I don't believe for one second that is the "real" beantownjim.

I just looked at my record and man, do I ever need to pick up the pace. I made four plays tonight to start the catch-up process but I have a month to go and still 72 plays to make.

Most folks disqualified themselves by posting over 100 plays. I have about a $1,300 lead on the pro and we each have one play to make. As yyz showed in the last contest, nothing is impossible so I'll wait until either April 1st or until the last pick is posted to recap the contest.

As a side note, it was a bad idea for me to agree to 100 picks in a two month period. I am a 30-50 pick a month kind of guy and since Best Bettor takes games off the board early, there are always a good number of missed plays. I think 30 per month is a much better number because I'd say I made well over 30 plays as "action" plays in this contest just to get to 100 plays. Still, it was fun nonetheless and I am certainly open to more contests with other posters if the terms are right.

nick, i agree with you about the # of picks. found myself taking games i didn't even bet on, but needed more picks:shrug:




i was thinking we should do a nhl playoff contest.
