Madjacks softball teams catcher died yesterday!!!!! ANITA was her name!!!!

She has struggled over the years with drug addiction every spring her mom would tell us that she was so glad that softball was here for she would clean up her act in order to play with us...........Just last week she told her mom how much she loved the warmer weather that was coming because of softball...............Yesterday she had made plans to go and look at a shore house and when her friends went to pick her up they found her screne door had been broken threw and went in to see if she was OK????? Much to their surprise, there she was, face down in her bed and BLUE. The police said she had been there like that for approximately 4 hours.............

Heroin overdose!!!!!!!!!

How sad is that????

Its obviously in its early stages , but I was thinking" IF" I even play this year, maybe we should call our team Anita's girls in honor of our friend She was one crazy chick that made everyone laugh and not to mention the best catcher behind the plate in the intire league.........The umpires even loved her!!!!!!!!
Maybe during your day you guys could shoot up a prayer for her poor mother .

wow that is not what i wanted to read first thing today when i checked the site, very said you know i know all about how hard it is to kick something like that, prayers and thoughts go out to her family, would be very nice to change name for her, you always said she was a balst to be around. really not much more to say just a shock. anyone who is in this stuff any drug or booze and has a problem i feel bad for i know how damn hard it is and you get some people who just don't understand that they say well just stop , well it is not that easy far from it.

i think you ladies should go on and runthe team in her name.

just hate it when i hear news like this because like i said i know how hard it is to fight, thoughts will be expressed tonight and i hope you all keep going.

Raising 4 year old boy/girl twins, drugs is something that just scares me to death. We must do all we can to make sure our kids stay away from this.

My wife and i played cards pretty regular with her cousin and her husband for many years. last summer they found him dead in bed from herion overdose. I would have never guessed that he was into that stuff but his wife said that every now and then he would do it. got introduced to it in nam. damn he was a good man. Funny as hell and great stories. left four kids and three grandkids behind. How senseless is that.

seventeen year old girl in town over died from a overdose not to long ago. her boyfriend shot her up and now he is in Attica doing hard time. Two lives down the drain.

Anyone thinking of doing herion, do your self a favor and smoke a joint and think it over.
