Question on NHL Oddsmakers

Dear All:

I have a question and hope I can get some help.

I've been contacted by a newspaper in Montreal that wants to do a story on sports betting during the NHL playoffs. I was asked if I knew any NHL oddsmakers (in LV or offshore) and the answer is 'No."

Does anyone here have access to any of the leading NHL oddsmakers? Perhaps there are a few who read this board, I don't know.

not sure if this will help you or not....but CRIS seems to put out NHL odds before anybody else. I would assume there is somebody there that would be able to help you?

I got a couple books in here where I live that set their own odds. Not sure if they'd be allowed to give an interview but I can find out. I'll email you tomorrow.

No -- I told him about the CRIS being the first offshore to post numbers, but that I would get back in touch if I learned more. I assume LVSC has someone on staff that might be quoted, but I don't know the person's name. I was just aking a shot in the dark here that someone might be connected to the business. NHL fans and bettors tend to be a tight knit group, so I thought this would be a good outlet to get information. Thanks to -- Charlie, Kick, Trade -- those who responded.
