my argument isnt that uconn was the wrong "play". meaning i can absolutely understand if uconn backers say that they would back the huskies again in the same situation if the game was replayed tomorrow. no doubt i can understand that.

but no way can i understand how uconn was the right side for their 40:00 contest that was just completed. they trailed the entire game, and with okafor in the 2nd half they STILL were losing the 2h straight up (duke increased halftime lead) until 3:00 left.

uconn is a championship team and big time teams never quit.

but for the final 30:00 of the game, uconn was covering for all of 3.2 SECONDS.

uconn is the better team. they could very easily win by 8-10 if they had a rematch tomorrow.

but on saturday night, they werent the right side. when okafor was in there- duke still led by 5-11 to whole 2h

i am actually glad to see a uconn/tech final as that is a little more appealing.

Duke got hosed! ... No, actually they f**king folded in that last 3 minutes. Also agree that the refs ruined what should have been an even better game because both teams had to sit players due to ticky-tack a** foul-calling by the refs. Let the players fawking play for christ sakes!

G, see where you are coming from based on play, bottom line champs close and chumps don't... duke should have dropped the hammer....UConn didn't give up here or in Big East Final against Pitt, took the game from Duke as they did Pitt great poise....love them to crush GT revenge angle, better game from Okafor etc..

im actually pissed at myself for not sticking with the nba for one more day.

i flat out said last night in two or three different threads that if the cavs lost to milwaukee, they would be lifeless and fold the rest of the season since their playoff chances were shot.

they were lame as fu/ck today and i knew damn well golden state was the play. shoulda grabbed that dog.
