Back later this week with additional info and selections... to me the regular season doesn't start till the coming Sunday/Monday although I did throw a unit on the D'Rays yesterday simply because of the value. Of course, I did not post it so it will not count towards my record.

Good Luck!

4/4 Opening Night Lightning Strike

4/4 Opening Night Lightning Strike

I also posted this in Ray's "Madjackers" thread.

The weather right now in the Northeast is cold and ugly. Windy, rainy ... and just plain sucks IMO for April. I am glad the Phillies open on the road although the weather in Pittsburgh this week in not likely to be a lot better.

I would like the over tonight if the conditions were not so poor. I also would play the O's at the nice price except I am afraid to back Ponson who I think had a career year last season. IMHO, he is an average ML pitcher (more like a #3 starter).

I know it's hard not to want some action to start the year but tomorrow should offer much better opportunities.

Pass ... w/ leans to the O's and the over.

Good Luck!

Adding

Adding

Added a parlay above.

For those who hate laying runs ... it's also a good option to round robin those in parlays rather than lay the 1.5 runs and juice.

Good Luck!

Mesa Time

Mesa Time

Being a Phillies fan, Mesa coming into close today scared the heck out of me but he did the job. Tough to root against your team but $$$ is $$$ and I was off to a rough start and really needed that one.

Thank you to the Chisox pathetic bullpen for giving up 6 ninth inning runs and blowing that game.

Now, if only the Brew Crew can hold on.

Nice call on the Pirates. I was on the other side really wanting Mesa to close it out for the money and the W. After hating him for so long and after the year he had, I think I just lost a few pounds. It will be a long year for me but I know the Phillies will be fine. Good luck the rest of the way:D
