Would you still consider the over a strong play at 8? My sportsbook and local have the over/under at 8.

Is this going to be your only play today, or are you still looking at other games??

Thanks - good luck!

If it hits at 7.5 the worse you can do with 8 is push, so it is really the same bet, you win, or you get your money back on 8 or it does not win, it can't land on 7.5 been around baseball along time and have never seen a half run put up on the board, so i would say yes if you like the play.

good luck

Thanks for the update Fletch, I am aware that a half of a run cannot be scored in baseball. I asked if Raymond still felt it was a STRONG play at 8. He has it at a 5 unit play at 7.5 and he may not feel the same value at 8.

here we go again.

fletch just explained that it would have to hit 8 in order to win so why would you be any less cautious in playing it at 8 when the worst you could do is push?

Ray Let me walk into this thread a little bit with some simple math

GUYS think about the number nine

How many ways can you add figures to equal nine?

9+0 =9

8+1 =9

7+2 =9

6+3 =9

5+4 =9

and in MLB 4+4 =9

Yep that is correct you heard it here first when the score is 4 to 4 they really will play the game a long time to break that tie and you always end up with at least 9 when there is a 4 to 4 tie after nine innings or a low percentage of rainouts.

;)

Guys lets kick some :moon: this year and make some cash.

So there you have it SIX ways to get to nine in MLB:D

Ray thanks for the free space for arithmatick :D

Help buddy please, spelling police time:eek:

"""Geno,

FIRST OF ALL RAY I did not see your total play on NYM/ATL. I did not read the entire thread prior to posting my above info release.

I sir did not intend to create a wound nor rub salt into a wound.

I simply responded to the conversation from above that involved Fabulous, Felonious Monk & Fletcher. The discussion of 7.5 and eight was where I was focused on.

Count as I typed my first reply in here I was TOTALLY UNAWARE of the play on the Braves total by Ray and the fact that it was in danger of being a loser. I only realized that after I read your reply and then checking that score on Yahoo I see it is a PUSH at this point and not a loser and I am not sure what the score was as I typed my reply about the number nine in MLB totals.

Go back and read my reply and you will maybe be able to understand that there was nothing implied about Rays play nor any play in this thread other than the Seattle total.

Ray a few years back posted a very strong play on a Philly total due to his local knowledge of the weather in that game. His post/play for that game was an over in the game due to HIGH WINDS in the area.

THE PLAY WAS A WINNER IN THE FIRST INNING!!!!!!! I played that play based on Rays insight and help and have never looked back since that cash was stuffed in my pocket free of charge. The man is here to help and nothing more & I am not here to rub his nose in a losing bet and for you to imply that irritates me to no end sir!

I also responded to Rays request last night about this very game(ANH/SEA) total in another thread of his (Ray's)

I said I figured the total would be 8 by game time.

Ray thanks again and Count rethink your strategy please.

After having posted my reply and checking two scoreboards I am relieved to see that the final is indeed a push at a 7-2 final and not a loser for Ray.

Count if you truely were simply wondering and not trying to stir then how can you call a game a loser when it is only a push sir?

Just wondering

I guess I need to stop trying to help around here and keep my mouth shut and my keyboard silent.

G/L to all .
