This is a good site, yet it can also be a strange site. I'd love to talk to everyone about why they choose to post here, or to post their plays at all. Anyone who'd like to share that is this thread is invited to do so.

After a winning day I like to crow a little. Most of you know that about me. I like to come back and post how many units I won and so forth. I try to be as humble as possible, of course, and to keep my ego out of it -- I never want to come across as boasting.

Of course, the problem with this is that then I have a losing day, and then instead of crowing I'm eating crow. Tuesday I had a 4-1 day with bases and baskets, then Wednesday I turned that around and went 1-5. Ah, the ups and downs of the wagering life.

Please indulge me a little when I crow. I just don't have anyone else that I can tell, "Hey, I had a winning day!" My wife doesn't care. If I say that to her, she only says, "Show me the money." So I figure this is one place in this world that I can freely proclaim: hey, I had a winning day!, and you'll understand that it feels good to do so. You all know that feeling.

And thanks for not bashing and belittling me when I lose the next day. Most of you are very kind. You congratulate me when I win and then say nothing when I lose. You know I feel bad enough as it is, without someone rubbing it in my nose. That is great and I appreciate it.

I like you guys. I think this is a good site and can be a great site. There are so many good cappers here, and people can actually pick up info that, in the long run, allows them to make money. Let's always appreciate the preciousness of that.

Let's treat each other with respect, guys. This is one great commodity that money can't buy, yet we can give it to each other. Treat each other with respect. I think this is one principle worth living by.

Have a great night. I have only one play to offer you tonight. I hope it wins, for your sake and mine. And may you have a profitable night in all ways, whether the game wins or not.

Best of lucky Buddy --- and with your track record on this site I think you are entitled to "boast" a little whenever you please.

NY Reb,

Havn't posted in a long time.

I coat-tailed all year long in college baskets, and you made me a very significant profit.

As a young capper, I lack discipline at times and have bordered on becoming the dreaded action junkie. I had difficulty distinguishing between strong plays and slight leans. I feel like I have smartened up a bit.

However, my system for college baskets was quite simple. Log on and hop on whatever it was that you posted. To my delight, you capped at a very high percentage. Still remember a few of the 15 star bailouts that helped me out alot.

I'm one of those guys who feel that baseball is so tough to cap. I get sucked in to taking the better pitcher all the time, and it usually doesn't work out. However, there's a number of guys on this forum who know how to do it. Just have to hop aboard the right capper when they get hot.

Cheers

lol, degenerates that we are--i couldnt have said it better. with a thread like this, you're aces in my book--more than just you're penchant for picking winners too! jus goes to show the great minds and people who use them behind the posts (although not always agreeing WHICH is a good thing, considering its a gambling site). so yeah, only the best of luck to you and yours. keep it up reb!

Thanks for the great basketball season, Reb. My wife dosn't give a rat's ass when I win, either. But it's an OK trade-off, as she never whines about it when I lose. The "agony of defeat" is already twice that of the "thrill of wininng"for me............and having a wife dog you after some losses would make it pretty much an unbearable venture.
It would be a good topic for a thread somewhere , someday. How your significant other imapcts your betting style, supports you or not, etc.

My girl doesnt even like sports and really doesnt like me gambling either.....whenever she gets on me I just slip her some money and send her to the mall.......I get my alone time to bitch and yell at the games and do all my capping......it gets kinda rough when I lose cuz sometimes I am not really nice to her.....not necessarily mean but just not nice.....hell...I even pass up sex after a rough day of gambling.......but I am honest with her and we make time for each other( preferrably after the games ;) ) and like I said slip her some money and it puts a smile on her face and gives me some peace to watch the game......for anyone who has a wife or girl who will watch games with you and even gamble on them...be thankful ;)

GREAT POST REB.......good luck to ya
