I didn't get to see Bush' segment, but I caught the last few minutes of Blair. Am I weird because I was moved by what he was saying? I thought he had a very clear and good message for the world.

Anyone else catch this?

didn't see it. But i've seen Blair speak several times and I think he is one of the better speakers there is today. Before the war he seemed to best portray why we are doing what we are doing.

is not a liberal like you or the other nitwits on this sight, he is a liberal that knows what has to be done and is siding with Pres Bush to get it done, because he unlike you knuckleheads knows that it is the right thing to do.

A big difference from the morons on this site that blindly follow the liberals in this country, which they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

I always enjoy insight shown by Ctown. I don't think he likes liberals. In fact I get the feeling that if this guy had his way we would still be fighting Vietnam.
Next to Bush Porky Pig would sound like a good speaker. Blair has to face the oppsition party weekly and answer questions they throw at him. The guy is a good speaker. Bush couldn't even handle softball questions lobbed to him.

nice sidestep stevie, what about the proclamation by djv that " I believe he's a liberial so it's shocking."

How do you square that with all the narrow minded libs here in the states. The fact he faces his party every week is all you have to say, how could a liberal be supporting this terrible policy that all you liberals keep whining about everyday here on this forum.

Also typical of the liberal elitists mentality, demean my communications skills when nothing else can be done.

Let me communicate this you f**ing stupid moron,

You are a follower and not a thinker albeit you would like us to believe. You just regurgitate the left wing wacko manifesto at every turn and bash anything from the other side. It's always the same tired we are bigots and nazis and you are all the enlighten ones that just want to get along with the world.

You are just part of the pathetic left and give America a bad name which our enemies love. No wonder bid laden wants kerry to win, what does that tell you.

How's that for communicating you moron:thefinger

CTG your calling the kettle black. You keep marching in step. And when Bush says chit you line up real quick. What to sides you have for liberials now. After all the bashing that there are no good ones. You found one. You must want to throw up.
Good point SD. It would be fun to watch Bush get drilled every week by congress. I will be fair about that. There are only a few that could handle that. Kenndy, Reagan, Clinton. Only because they had a gift with words. But Bush would die as so many would.

CTG actually I am surprised to see you want to spread democracy to Iraq. Seems to me Iraq was someplace you would of liked to be under Saddam. Only one way to think. Either march with the dictator or face the chopping block.

Blair is a great speaker, disagree with meeting and doing deals with Libya which blew up a civilian airplane. you should not reward terrorists, even if they apologize.

thanks

Blair top knotch in my view and if I had to nominate a world ruler he would prob get my vote--I also really like the guy from Spain that just termed out and left office--almost as much as I dislike the one that stepped in--but will give him a year or so to see whats shaking.

blair

blair

is quite liberal on many issues....but,he`s probably the best ally we have....and at considerable expense to himself in britain....

like it or not,the guy is pro america.....and stands by what he says..one helluv`an orator....

..he understands that the u.s. and britain share so much...democracy....values....western civilization is coming under the gun...

all americans, imo, should hold tony blair in high regard..like bush or not,he won`t be there forever.....it`s a comfort to know that blair`s there....he believes in america....

good friends are hard to come by these days...

so we should hold blair in high regard and not bush.

they believe in the same things as far as the war on terror and back each other totally, but somehow blairthe liberal is the good guy and bush is the bad guy:shrug:

gw not slamming you just asking rhetorical question of those that make this distinction:confused:

absolutely not......not what i meant.....i see people on this board (and everywhere for that matter)so anti-bush....so vehemently anti-administration,that i honestly think that they revel in american set backs.......i`m talking about americans...and it sickens me...

that they are so politically blinded by their ideology, that the good of the country isn`t as important as furthering their own political agenda....

we can win the war on terror and, hopefully, get some kind of people`s government in iraq.....as long as bush falls on his face.....if it means bush is successful, then i think they`d rather us fail....

what i was saying is that we are americans all(and i include our canadian brothers in a sort of blanket )........we have basically the same beliefs...the same value systems...we are bound together by so many things....and britain...and many other nations also..

i can say with all candor, that if kerry is elected,i will support him fully....will i agree with every policy?....probably not...but if he`s successful, that means america will be successful....

you won`t see me sniping at him because of political affiliation....i realize that the iraq war is the most contentious issue in this country in decades....but,if it were clinton doing what bush is doing,i believe that many skewering bush would be supporting clinton.....

and maybe those supporting bush would be skewering clinton....

that`s unfortunate...

just saying that to dislike blair because he backs bush in iraq,is like cutting off your nose to spite your face...he fully supported president clinton,also.........

he supports america....

i just read an article in readers digest, by a churchill biographer ( jon meacham). that explained britains & u.s. relationship during ww2.

the article talked about fdr's & churchill's relationship & how their friendship saved the world.

the author goes on stating that," fdr & churchill completed each other, & helped make what the other did possible as they rescued freedom from its hour of maximum danger. now bush & blair have stepped into those roles".

the advice churchill gave to his cabinet members during their last meeting was:

"never be separated from the americans. our two countries were & still are linked by the ties of blood & history"

margaret thatcher & reagan followed churchill's advice & now bush & blair are doing the same.
