I know where your coming from on this play and Toronto jumped off the page at me too. But their lineup is awful right now and Delgado is swinging at flies. I still think it's a good play though.

Looks like a solid play as you won't get Halladay as a home underdog very often I wouldn't think .... should be a pitchers duel with Pedro going for Bosox according to what I'm seeing as probables .... could be a 2-1 or 3-2 kind of game - good luck on the Blue Jays.

I don't know if this is right but I swear I remember Toronto having some good hitting days versus Pedro in the last few years. I am not positive though. Halladay should be enough anyways./

Martinez has not really been dominant early this year (say, like a Sheets or a Willis (wink-wink, nudge-nudge)): allowing at least 1 HR in each start so far, a WHIP at almost 1.5, and he's coming off of a brutal start at home vs Orioles. Pedro's numbers vs the Jays, with his solid 7.2IP for the win April 10th, include an 8-2 lifetime record (2-0 at the Skydome). The rest of his #'s, vs T.O., are also stellar. Delgado's #s vs Pedro suck major, including a .189 avg. in 37 at bats (1 HR, 13 K). Halladay's #s vs Sox are nowhere near as impressive.

Tough call. Side and total.
Both starters susceptible to the long-ball so far this year (4 Pedro, 5 Roy - 3 starts each), Jays O is underachieving so far, while Bosox may be overachieving somewhat.
Plus, both bullpens are still a joke, I believe, as both were all last season.

Still, go Jays.
err...f-that...I mean...
Go Leafs!
