JIMMY ASHTON

MLB 3* FLA/PHIL UNDER

Dontrelle Willis is looking again like the world-beater he was in the early going last season before wearing down late. He is 2-0 this season allowing 0 runs on 9 hits thru 12+ innings. Willis faced Philly 3 times last season and was already feeling the fatigue in a pair of September starts where the Phils touched him up for 7 runs in 12+ IP. In his July start against them, Willis allowed 3 hits and a run in 6 IP.

Florida has played under the total in 11 of their 12 games this season and is coming off a sweep at the hands of the Atlanta Braves over the weekend. The Marlins swept the Phils at Pro Player earlier this month as all 3 games played under the total.

The Phillies are riding a 4-game win streak in their brand new Citizens Bank Park and in their night games they are under in 3 of 4.

Vicente Padilla will bring in a 3.13 L/T ERA tonight

NHL Playoff Play.........

Ottawa +120.... No potential problems here with the line...this one is already dropping. I know we picked Toronto to win this series, but who knew their best player and Captain Sundin would be injured and out? The last 2 games without Mats, the Leafs have really struggled to produce offense. They have only stayed alive in this series due to the stellar goaltending of Belfour, a strong work ethic from their veteran leaders, and a no-show by the Sens in game 5. The momentum seems to have swung now, and although the Leafs host this game seven, Ottawa, if they play with any sort of resolve and confidence, should find a way to win with their superior talent and skill level. We still do not have much confidence in Lalime should Toronto find a way to get more scoring chances, but they have not manufactured much offense since Sundin went down. The road teams won both game sevens yesterday, and we will take the Sens to finally get the Toronto gorilla off their backs tonight.
