I know if it looks too good to be true it isn't ...

I have also looked at IE2002's analysis in an earlier thread.

I will take Ari at -120 over the Cubs for the simple fact that the Cubs can't hit left handing pitching. Look at the numbers. Plus, even Leiter yesterday did fairly well even with the big wind blowing out. Who else is going to take this sucker bet with me?

hard to get a read on the numbers as this will be only the 3rd lefty the cubs have faced so far(ramirez + leiter)

with the pre-domintely laden rh lineup the cubs have they should be doing better...

but they set the table with 2 leftys ( walker and patterson)....

brenly attributed brutal 7th inning last start vs brewers to fatigue by johnson running the basepaths hard in the 6th....so could have masqueraded his numbers in that game a bit...
