You know it continues to amaze me as to how the right uses the old adage, "the best defense is an offense." With talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, National Review, etc., these clowns continue to call the media "liberal".

Coppell decides to honor those killed in Iraq, is personally in favor of this awful war, and then is called "unpatriotic" for doing so by this Sinclair Nazi who boycotts Nightline. Why the f*** are the Bush supporters so afraid of the TRUTH.

I remember watching the news during Viet Nam and the stations were, on a nightly basis, showing body bags being unloaded off of airplanes. You don't see any of that now.

Nor do you see any of the dead Iraqi women, children on the news. Hell, all you hear about are how civilian military establishment employees get fired for taking pictures. There goes the first amendment.

Actually, I find it befitting this administration that Sinclair calls printing pictures and names of those killed in Iraq as unpatriotic.
You see, under the Bush Administration, the truth is unpatriotic. What does that tell you about America in 2004.

Our forefathers are rolling over in there graves. Oh yeah, how bout dem little atrocities were pulling with the "detained" Iraqi's. Oh thats right, that doesn't happen.

Didn't happen in Viet Nam, nor does it happen in Iraq. As I stated earlier and will state again, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz are murderers and should be in jail.

i am in favor of abc doing this type of show, but their motives are very apparent to me.

if abc was truly sincere about honoring these fallen soldiers like they say they were, they would have done the show on memorial day. instead they are airing this show at the begining of sweeps week, where the networks advertising dollars are established.

and why aren't they honoring the soldiers who died in aphganistan. does abc think these soldiers aren't as important as the iraqi soldiers who were killed, or do they(abc) have an agenda ?


imo,these networks & the other news outlets, on both sides, are becoming very dangerous. instead of reporting the news fairly, they are trying to sway elections. and this hurts our country & any soldiers we have overseas.

that abc is trying the same ploy as time magazine during the viet nam war...trying to turn public sentiment against the war and bush...

even though the end game to this war was admittedly botched big time and should cost bush the election,abc is shamelessly left leaning and koppel and particularly chris bury are obviously and vehemently anti-bush and anti the war....

i don`t mind them using all these anti-war tactics....just be honest about it..these are opinion pieces....not objective journalism....

last time i looked,this is a free country....sinclair has every right to do what they will with their product....if anything,abc and koppel should be called on the carpet for not having the sac to be honest with the public... forget the flimsy subterfuge...

they have a right to do it....just be intellectually honest about it...

Once again Eddie, I feel so sorry for you. Life must be really hard to enjoy when you walk around so bitter. Maybe you resort to insults because that is all your bitterness allows you to do. Just like you do with anyone who posts in your threads, you resort to personal attacks. My post above has nothing to do with right wing, left wing, anything about politics. It's about life. Maybe it's because I'm only 25 and not jaded like you. Life still seems promising to me, I'm not an angry person.

Oh yeah, one more thing, since you love to pigeonhole me as a die-hard republican. I am far from it. To tell you the truth, for most of my years on this earth I couldn't care less about politics. I'd say I'm like a lot of people, who don't really get interested in politics until they experience the real world. In any case, despite what you may think, I probably have more liberal beliefs than conservative, ie i strongly support pro-abortion rights and strict gun-control to name a few. With respect to our national security, I feel like that trumps those other issues in recent times and I feel safer with a republican in office who is not afraid to take the initiative in protecting our country. Regardless, I just thought I would inform you of my status since you like to stereotype most people into one category or another. Knowledge with politics comes with life experience; you've got 20+ years on me so you can out-argue me on the subject. Don't fool yourself into thinking it has anything to do with intelligence level.
