I'm 100% with AR182 on this one. He's more prick than prima donna when it comes to being fitted with his own Elway size pedestal before the draft (not that the San Diego situation wasn't a fast track to no where, unless he was able to elevate his team above that - duh), but he has the tangibles and intangibles to stick around for a long time. Assuming he drinks some whiskey when he could be drinking milk, I don't think that will be the source of his professional demise. Or not.

if an athlete feels that he has a chance to play in n.y.

he would be foolish not to grab.

the bucks that he will make in endorsements could probably match what the giants will pay him.

and manning will not be the last player to challenge the nfl draft.
