A couple of games I like today:

HOUSTON ASTROS / PITTSBURGH PIRATES over 9 (+110)
These two teams combined to leave 17 runners on base last night, and without Clemens and Wells on the mound today, I can't see all these runners being stranded this afternoon. Benson historically struggles against the Astros (2-7 lifetime) and he and Miller have combined to walk 15 batters in their last two starts, which is just begging for trouble. I may be way off, but I just have a feeling this is going to be a wild one this afternoon.

ATLANTA BRAVES / SAN DIEGO PADRES under 9.5 (-105)
This Braves line-up is pretty beat up with Chipper on the DL, Giles and Furcal out and J.D. Drew questionable. I am also looking for a good effort out of Hampton today, as he showed signs of improvement last time out in Colorado. Klesko will not go today for the Padres, which won't hurt the under, however, Lawrence does concern me somewhat in that he hasn't had much success against the Braves and got lit up like a Christmas tree in his most recent start against the Mets.

Thanks for the kinds words guys, but I got a harsh shot of reality this afternoon! :nono: (0-2 -205)

Anyway, although the totals were not kind, I am going to try one more for tonight:

LA DODGERS / FLORIDA MARLINS over 7.5 (-115) - Ishii is one of those guys I just don't trust.....I don't like his SO/BB ratio, and he is prone to the longball at times. On the other hand, this Dodger squad had some success against Willis last year, and after his latest outing in San Francisco, he may still be shaken a bit. I think it's worth a shot with the low total.

I know what you're talking about last year - they were a terrible over bet, but they seem much improved to this point this year, and are getting much better production out of Beltre and LoDuca.
