zambrano for the afternoon start.....

last 2 were on 5 days rest he comes in on friday afternoon on "4" days rest off 122 pitches(season high)...

check the cubs bullpen please and weather if backing the -230 fav....he could leave pitches up early:hence hr if wind is right.

Estes is vunerable also off past 2 start pattern.

If anything since it's so chalky I'd prob play the run line and either way I'd depend more on the Cubs offense to pull me thru as opposed to pitching. Cubs prob (or hope to) put up at least 5 or 6 or 8 runs so just depend on a quality Zambrano start. I love 'em at home for day games.

I'm playing Cubs -1.5 5*

If you're talking total then yes over but I suck at totals so don't take my advice. I would think a day game would have a good chance at over don't you? Don't even know the line yet is it 9?

have to wait and see approach on weather later today...off patterns don't expect both starters to be giving anything after 5 or less...with no park adjustment.

I'm assuming it's due to wind reports but honestly have no clue... anyway, the Cubs total has been hit from 9.5 to 7.5 in half-run increments at Pinnacle. We'll see what it's sitting at come tomorrow morning.

Unless we're looking at gusty winds blowing in, I'll have to lean to the over if it sticks at 7.5 when I wake up tomorrow.

Thinking of stroking that "Big Dog" too. In addition To IE`s
comments about Zambrano, He`s 0-3 vs the Rock-Men.

FYI

Rockies have only 12 wins overall

they are 8-4 in day games
