Defense and rebounding.Two things the Pistons do so much better then the Nets.I'm sure Nets will shoot better then their 27% and score more then 56 pts but I still think they lose by double digits.Nets half court game vs Pistons defense is a problem for Kidd and co.NJ has great fast break but Det has great transition defense.
So NJ's one key strength is "checkmated" with Pistons strength.
Nets need to run to win.They need to spread it out on the open court.If you stop the fast break Nets cannot play 5 on 5.Pistons are bigger and have more depth.
Det outrebounded Nets 48-29.And that was with Rasheed getting into foul trouble,shooting only 8 shots,scoring 8 pts and getting 3 rebounds in game 1.Wow.Imagine tonite if he plays his normal game.
