I really see this to be a close game. I know the Lakers have a "must win" ahead of them, and have the superstars to blow out any team in the NBA but I really like the Spurs here. Spurs know they can put a dagger into the Lakers if they win this game, and they are the dominant team (IMO). Even though they are the road team, I'm going with the Spurs....

Spurs +4.5 (-115)

Had a good day yesterday, hope it continues. Good luck to all!

Your thought are appreciated and welcomed.

The only thing I dont like about your reasoning is that
San Antonio may buck under to the Lakers pride of being
at home and just lay back and let them take one game.

Its unlikely the Lakers could be swept.

Moneyline on Lakers might work out.

Not sure, still thinking about this game.

Scott,
Thanks for your reply. I understand that Lakers will try to show their pride today but I don't like one part of your reasoning:

"[Spurs will] just lay back and let them take one game"

I personally think nothing could be further from the truth. Can the lakers beat the Spurs by 20 points - absolutely. Will the Spurs let them beat them by 20 points - never.

If you decide to take the lakers moneyline - I hope it's a really close Lakers win so we both win. Thanks again for your thoughts and enjoy the game.

I went ahead and played moneyline Lakers.

Last year it was 2-0 and the Lakers won the next two at home,
then San Antonio closed it out.

If the Lakers lose this game and go down 3-0 talk about
embarressing for them.
