#901 New York UNDER 10 -107 Baldwin vs Daigle x2
Baldwin is coming back to the "bigs" tonight vs the Dbacks. Baldwin's best years were with the White Sox, and has most recently struggled with Seattle and Minnesota.
Taking an under with this unknown pitcher can be risky, but he put up some decent spring training numbers before being shipped to Norfolk in 3A. His numbers have contiued to look reasonable at Norfolk.
Casey Daigle has a current ERA of 6.75 and a very high whip of 1.60. I feel that is a little deceiving, knowing he started out with the then hot hitting Cards, second appearance at Coors Field. Daigle has made 5 appearances this year, 1-1.
I like Casey's numbers, somewhat, in his L3. His L2 were against the Cubs, a team that hits righties much better than lefties. Casey went 12.1 innings giving up 3 earned runs with 6 strike outs. Casey is well rested.
The bullpens concern me some, but I think it is worth the wager, not knowing the HPU situation.
Good luck!
