Please help
Hey guys I normally dont like to discuss my time I spent in the gulf under daddy Bush but with all this B.S. going on recently just wanted to tell you a story .

Where we were at we could not receive any personal mail or send any back home. Almost like being on a deserted island but once a week we would get food and water rations. One of the last ration trips they dropped us three duffel bags of mail addressed to any service member.

We all took one letter or two. Mine was from a third grader in Kansas. I wished I would have saved that letter because at that moment I had almost forgotten what home felt like.

All she said in the letter was thank you and we all love you . She even put a little care pkg in the envelope. One tootsie roll even though it was smashed and half melted it tasted like home.

Please whether you agree with this war or not click on one of these links below and let our soldiers know that we are behind them.

Please help me to keep this at the top for a few days with any comments or notes

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Army Public Affairs Office receives numerous heart-felt requests from Americans who are seeking ways to show their support for soldiers, especially those serving overseas in this time of war.

?At this time of heightened awareness we are hearing from family members, friends and concerned citizens that they want to reach out and show their support for troops deployed overseas,? said Col. Richard H. Breen, Jr., Director of the Army?s Community Relations and Outreach Division. ?Knowing this we have identified a variety of outlets that people can use.?

These websites represent several organizations sponsoring programs for members of the Armed Forces overseas. While the items and services are not endorsed by the military, these providers help soldiers and their families keep in touch. You may:

Donate a calling card to help keep service members in touch with their families at Operation Uplink a http://www.operationuplink.org/

Send a greeting via e-mail through Operation Dear Abby at http://anyservicemember.org or http://www.OperationDearAbby.net

Sign a virtual thank you card at the Defend America web site at http://www.defendamerica.mil/nmam.html

Thank you for posting this. I sent a heartfelt thanks to our soldiers. As you all know I was against the war in Iraq, but for the war on terror. I'm behind the soldiers 100% just not those who put them there. Please don't anyone ever get that confused.
