Guess who I saw /met today....

Well fella's I am a kinesiology major here at the Univ of Texas @ San Antonio. I graduate in Dec 2004 and I am into the strength training-human performance stuff. So I am looking for an internship...so nearby luck for me is the San Antonio Spurs Practice Facility, a beautiful facility i may add, 40,000 ft2 2 full sized indoor bball courts, weights, etc. I was there during the morning shootaround around 1030am today and i was in the lobby area wneh in behind me comes Doc Rivers.....Al Michaels, Michelle Tafoya and a couple other guys i didnt recognize...
well doc is a real nice guy, he said hello and we shook hands.....its amazing what makeup does for these people....Doc looked the same but Al looked like he just woke up and Tafoya is a bit plump i might add...hehehe....also Hedo Turkelo and Danny Ferry really dig my wheels....the rims kept spinning.....
finally i spoke to the head SC coach and we talked for a few (he was in the middle of practice) and there is a good chance ill be working with the Spurs during the SUmmer, offseason conditioning etc, preseason....so I am pretty stoked

I am sure you know what it is, but just in case...

It is the science of motion and movement within the human form.

Due to my coaching minor I had to take these courses, not as much as the individuals getting their degree, but a taste...and let's just say if I asked you all for help with my patio, imaine the help I asked for from the chicks in my class! Difficult for me, but it's amazing I do well in science, and the biologies>

It's Gravy- I've done some work for a major sports team as well (although not in anything like your field), and I was told that it was probably in my best interest not to mention doing so on a sports gambling forum as they knew I frequented such places. Probably just a bunch of nothing, but I thought I'd pass that on to you.

But what work does one look for with a major in this field?

What do you know how to do?

Is the only employment involved come from athletic programs? I would think this is a very small pool of job opportunities.
