Saturday Bases 5/15/04

Well, I made a whopping 10 dollars on Friday, but I am not complaining, as I still get to use the verb "made".......

I have two plays for Saturday, and then that will be it for the weekend, as I have been stalled a little bit, and I will be quite busy for the next couple days. I bought a new Taylor Made 580, so I am going to pound it around the golf course in the morning, then to a retirement party for a guy from work in the afternoon, and then over to a buddy's for a NASCAR party in the evening (I'm not really there for the racing.... ) Then, on Sunday, we've got a car load heading for the Skydome for the Doc / Pedro match-up. Should be a great one!

Sorry to anyone following my Blue Jay play on Friday night. My last girlfriend told me my heart wasn't big enough for my Blue Jays, Dolphins, beer, golf, horses and her.......Maybe I should have made more room for her in the "Blue Jay" portion she was referring to??? :shrug: Regardless, she's long gone........and I'm still spending my hard earned money on the ponies....and the Blue birds.

Okay, okay, on to Satuday's plays:

OAKLAND ATHLETICS - Mark Mulder is 6-0 with a 2.16 ERA in 50 innings pitched against the Royals. Sign me up.

CHICAGO WHITE SOX - Just playing the better team and better pitcher in this position. Loaiza was roughed up a bit in his last start and I look for a good rebound effort in this start versus the Tigers.

I'll post the prices when I get them, but I am expecting to have to lay more chalk than I usually like to.:nono:

Giambi - I'm jealous......You get to sit outside in a new park and look at a skyline in the background of dirt and real grass.....we're going to be in the atmosphere of concrete and astroturf....:nooo:

Well....the juice burned me Saturday....1-1, but down 80 bucks thanks to the White Sox.

No plays for Sunday....just a few beers at the dome and hopefully seeing a doozy of a pitching matchup.

Giambi, Allnet....have a good time at your games as well.
Ezpickin....I hope your son had some luck in the little league game (I bet he wished he was facing Hentgen - he could have padded his average a bit) :shrug:
