NY YANKEES (Osborne) -130 over SEATTLE (Moyer)

Considering how poorly the Mariners have been playing

(12-23, -$1375), we're getting a bargain on the Yankees

at this price, even if Osborne was ineffective in his start

at Safeco Field last Sunday. New York ultimately prevailed

in that game anyway, and we suspect Osborne to fare much

better in southpaw friendly Yankee Stadium. Jaime Moyer's

ERA in day games is close to 8.00, and he'll be taking on a

hot Yankee team (7-3, +$190 last 10 days) that is now 10-2

(+$730) vs. lefthanders, averaging 5.6 runs per game in those

contests. Seattle has taken a giant step backward in 2004 and

we intend to capitalize on their misfortune.

BEGINNING TUESDAY MAY 18

Los Angeles at Philadelphia (3) 18th, 19th, 20th

The Dodgers have been a huge moneymaker as a visitor in 2004 (11-4, +$945) and we like their chances against a Philly team still struggling to pull above the .500 mark. We?ll look to those sensational LA lefthanders to get the job done once again (Philly only 1-4, -$290 vs. southpaws with 3.8 runs per game). PREFERRED: Lefthanders vs. the Phillies

Northwest of Philly, Pa
Good Luck Ray ... I am on your parlay but I also have the Chisox with it.

Wish I had been home early enough today to wager on the Phillies and the NYY over. I loved both of them but I wasn't around until after the start of the games.
