Don't know if war or fight against terrorist world wide will be successful but I DO KNOW what looking the otherway got us and the rest of the world. Find one country where Muslims exist and I'll show you civilian genocide. Personally I'd like to see them suffer just a little for their atrocities than run rampant.
If this war has done nothing else it has proved to peaceful muslims that their lives mean no more to the fantics then ours and several Islamic countries have since joined in the fight.
Consider the amount o fbad guys taken off the street and convince me we and the rest of the world were better off with them planning and striking with no consequences.

of course there are others that feel taking these guys off streets is of little consequence--they feel to combat terrorist burning ,beheading-hanging and bombing civilians is to make sure these culprits if caught get lawyers and their rights to remain silent are secure. Their way of gaining intelligence is to assure the terrorist there are no penaties for not giving info that might deter a catastrophe and for Gods sake don't profile especialy those entering our country---then when the shit hits the fan whine like banshees that your goverment isn't protecting you and file lawsuits against everyone because it was their fault of course.:shrug:

I agree with you to some extent that we stick or nose where it does not belong--Africa for one-- isolate em and let em self destruct

They are against everyone not just the U'S' so sticking our nose anywhere makes little diff on their attitude its their agenda against anyone that does not share their views.

Sometimes haist makes waist. We seemed to have waisted a chance to gather many more friends in out war on terror. After 9/11 and all the well wisher that brought. Even after taking on Afgan ring of terror. We still had so many ready and willing. You would here go yank go. But we blew it in Iraq.
Once in a while we have to step back. Dont pat our self on the back and say. Chit we are but 375 million of the nearly 6 billion liveing on thes planet. Maybe we should try alittle harder to work with more of them. Or do we really like the problem of going around as a self apointed healer of the world. Folks there are many who just dont want us. There are many that just plain hate us. Of course it's for what we stand for. Our problem is trying to make them believe they would like it better being like us.
